Phase I Facilities

SGS’ facilities have been designed and equipped to meet the latest International guidelines to guarantee high quality service, facilitate the subject recruitment and optimize the synergies in between the clinical and bionalytical units.

Clinical Facilities
SGS’ clinical facilities are ideally located in Paris, France and Antwerp, Belgium with a total of 184 beds. These clinical units have successfully passed several US FDA inspections during recent years. Clients benefit from the favourable regulatory environment in the two countries with very short phase I trial approval times of two and four weeks, respectively.

SGS has also built a large database of 14 000 Volunteers and special population subjects for the central locations of the clinical pharmacology units.
